Happy New Year to all Cub Run Families. I hope your holidays were filled with fun, family and relaxation! I know I was ready for the kids to return to school on the 3rd!

At the November PTA meeting the PTA voted to release funding for the purchase of four (4) new SENTEO systems for Cub Run. This was “number one” on the teacher wish list. Additional funding for this purchase came from the Box Tops for Education program. Clipping and saving all those little coupons resulted in a check to Cub Run for $946.80! Thanks goes to Liz Molloy for diligently heading up this program. The SENTEOs have arrived and are already in use!

Please take some time to review the other side of this newsletter and consider if you might be able to help out in one of the several areas the PTA is in need of volunteers. We still have MANY fun events planned for the remainder of the year. However we rely heavily on the help of our parents, teachers, administration and community to help make these events become a reality!

Finally, we ask you to please check the website regularly for updates and information regarding PTA events. We post all newsletters and forms to the website. In an attempt to be consistent with Cub Run’s “Going Green” initiative we will try to shift away from paper copies and will rely more and more on the website to be THE source for all your PTA information.
